For People Living in Incorporated Clarendon Hills

For Adults

To renew a library card, bring your expired or almost expired library card and a valid photo ID showing your Clarendon Hills address to the Front Desk of the library.

If your photo ID does not show your Clarendon Hills address, then please bring photo ID and one proof of residency such as utility bill, lease/mortgage documents, or current tax bill that shows your name and CH address

For Children

A child can renew his/her library card without a parent present, if a parent has an unexpired CHPL library card in good standing.

If not, a parent needs to come to the library with his/her child and show the parent's valid photo ID with Clarendon Hills address or photo ID (without address) and one proof of residency for the child’s card to be renewed.

Any outstanding fees/fines must be paid before a library card can be renewed.  If you no longer have your physical library card and you need to renew it, a new card can be made for you.

Library cards need to be renewed every 3 years.
